At work this week, I started doing a little more than just being a cashier. I was a stocker for a day and let me tell you, it wasn't the greatest. Everything in the aisle had to be "perfect" but no matter what, it wasn't "perfect enough" so I think I'm just going to stick to petting the dogs. On the plus side, a little 8 week old pitbull puppy came in and he didn't have a leash or collar and the owner apologized but little did he know that I was letting the puppy roam around anyway. The puppy ended coming up right next to me and I picked him up and let him cashier with me. He was the cutest and I miss his little face.
I read the article with the life quotes and I will always go with Rafiki's quote, "Oh yes, the past can hurt. But, you can either run from it or learn from it". That has been my favorite quote since I could talk. He is so right. It's just like moving on from something that is holding you back. You always have room to improve or fix. It's okay if something happened in your past, but that is not what defines you. Their is always room for change. You can do whatever you want. It's all on you.

This is right on the wall next to me. We'll see how long it lasts up there.
